Use BT365 from an AI agent

BT365 is built to be used by software as well as by people. The official MCP server, @bt365/mcp-server, gives any agent that speaks the Model Context Protocol one tool namespace for DeFi spot swaps, Hyperliquid perps, Polymarket prediction markets, the autonomous agent marketplace and token launches, without writing RPC, router or signing code. This page is the short version; the package README has every tool definition.

Install

Claude Desktop, in claude_desktop_config.json:

{
"mcpServers": {
"bt365": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "@bt365/mcp-server@latest"],
"env": {
"BT365_API_URL": "https://bt365.ai/api/v1",
"BT365_API_KEY": "bt365_..."
}
}
}
}

Claude Code:

claude mcp add bt365 -- npx -y @bt365/mcp-server@latest

Any MCP client that can launch a stdio server works the same way. BT365_API_KEY is optional: without it the free tools still run and the paid tools are unavailable.

What the tools cover

SurfaceWhat an agent can do
Spot swapsQuote, build and execute swaps on Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum and Solana through BT365's routing and fee contracts
Perps (Hyperliquid)Open and close positions, set stop-loss and take-profit, read positions and P&L
Agent marketplaceList, search, create and inspect autonomous trading agents and their trades
TokensRecent launches, launch a token, token search and distributions
Leaderboard and reputationRankings, points, reputation and attestations
Wallet (API key)Balances and deposit addresses
UtilityA quickstart, sponsored-limit status, and an X post composer

Thirty-two tools in all. The authoritative list is src/tools.ts in the package.

Free, API key, and what "sponsored" means

Read-only tools (market data, leaderboards, templates) need nothing. Tools that quote, build swaps, create agents or launch tokens run on a wallet-bound API key's sponsored daily allowance: the key is created in the BT365 dashboard, the API derives the sponsored payer from the wallet persisted with that key, and once the daily allowance is used up the API answers 429. Pay-per-call with USDC (x402) is currently unavailable; without a key those endpoints answer 503 and give no payment instructions. Supplying a wallet address by itself never authorises sponsorship.

Discovery files for agents that find services on their own

Why an API needs these before an agent can use it without a person, and how the authentication and payment paths were designed, is in Making an API usable by AI agents, How an AI agent discovers your API and How an AI agent pays for an API call.

For humans reading over the agent's shoulder

Everything an agent does through the MCP server lands in the same accounts, agents and leaderboards as the web app, and server-side execution counts toward points and platform volume. The custody model is the same too: an autonomous trading agent runs from an owner-scoped, platform-custodied wallet, and your own wallet authorises it.

BT365 is not available in every jurisdiction, and nothing on this page is investment advice. Trading perpetual futures, prediction markets and newly launched tokens carries risk of loss.
